Sunday November 25th

Last Sunday, the Pentimone and Bender families joined us for church and fellowship at the Southerland's house. Almost everyone dressed as either Pilgrims or Indians. It was a lot of fun!!! Here is a picture of most the children in the church (minus a few sleeping babies and a family that had to leave early.)

More Feed For The Chickens

Yesterday, we went to a small town north of here to get feed for the chickens. Here are some pictures of the trip.

It's kind of hard to see, but up on the ceiling is the machine that mixes all the grains together.

Sayer watching the proceedings.

Measuring out the different grains.

Filling the sacks.

Loading it up!

We ate lunch at our neighbor, Mr. Adkens, sister's cafe. The food was very good!!!

When we got home, I found my kitten Torty being funny!

Working on the Chicken's New Area: Round 2

Last, Saturday, Mr. Ocker came up and helped daddy with more work on the new chicken area. We really appreciate them coming over to help. I didn't get many pictures of the day, but I was able to get this adorable picture of William!

Happy Thanksgiving!!! 2007

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!! We hope everyone had a great day. Our family had a wonderful day!!!

Six Little Pilgrims

I'm Waiting For Pictures. Stay Tuned, More Coming Soon!!!

Cochran Family Funnies #2

A couple days before Thanksgiving, Stasia was looking at a book about the Pilgrims. Stasia came across a picture of the Pilgrims with the Indians and asked mommy if those Indians were mean. Mommy replied that those Indians were actulally nice, but that there were some Indians that were mean. Mommy then told Stasia that she had some Indian blood in her. Stasia then looked at the picture, felt the top of her head and replied: "Yes, but I don't have the feathers!" (We had to explain that the Indians didn't grow the feathers in the first place!!!)

Working on the Chicken's New Area: November 17th

A couple of weekends ago, Mr. Morris and his older sons came up and helped daddy with building the new area for our chickens. They were a huge help and got a lot done. Here are some pictures of the day.

They had to move the old coop.

The Southerland's Newest Blessing

Here are some pictures of the Southerland's new baby boy and a surprise baby shower that the church did for them a couple weeks before he was born. I'm a little late in blogging this, but just recently got the pictures from Mrs. Ocker (our camera decided to run out of batteries right in the middle of it). Everyone had a great time doing the shower, it was so much fun!!! We did it after church one Sunday and everyone was actually able to keep it a surprise. It worked out great!!! Enjoy the pictures!!!

Samuel Davies Southerland was born October 29th. He is such a cutie!!!
