Trip Part 1

A couple of weeks ago, our family went on a trip.  It was kind of a whirl wind tour, but we had a pleasant time together and with those we were able to see.  We were thankful that we were able to go (it had been over a year since our whole family had been out of the great state of Oklahoma!) We are also so very thankful for the friends that were able to take care of the animals (far and near!) and property so we could go. We started off by going to Kansas City to visit family - it was so great to see everyone again!!  We then went down to Tennessee for a wonderful wedding.  I think I'm going to do this in several parts, so here goes part one:

We were able to see and visit with Grandpa Elder (mommy's father).  We love you grandpa!!!  It was great to see you again!!!

Uncle Todd (mommy's oldest brother), Aunt Moe, Weston, and all of us.  It was great to see and visit with you all again too!!  We love you!!

Then we went to daddy's parents' house:

 It was pretty long!

Farmers Market

This year, our family is participating in our local farmers market.  Here are some pictures of our first market day (and a couple of days leading up to it) a few weeks ago.  Mommy and Sabrina spent a full day at the commercial kitchen canning sand plum jelly and baking pumpkin bread and granola.  They worked so hard!  Unfortunately, I don't have pictures from that day, but I hope you enjoy the ones below.

Preparation
Hannah and Lily helped me do all of the baking at the commercial kitchen.  It was such a blessing - I couldn't have done it without them!!!

Introducing...

...The newest addition to our property...

Our miniature horse!!!

Daddy, Stasia, and I out with the hives.  We have 8 now!!

Our dog, Daisy, jumps the chicken yard fences.  It works out fine though because she doesn't run away when she's out and when she's in, she helps guard the other animals.  She just kind of does her own thing. :)

Sabrina took this picture - isn't it great?!

Our three goat kids are getting big!  They like to be together.
