Trip Part 4

Last part!  We had a a wonderful last couple of days of our trip.

We were greatly blessed by the privilege of attending a beautiful wedding.  The bride and groom's love, devotion, and passion for the Lord was truly a blessing and encouragement to all who were present.  May God bless you richly, David and Nadia, and you endeavor to serve and live for Him!!

After the wedding, we enjoyed a wonderful evening of fellowship at the Turley Family's Home - thank you all for having us!

 More fellowship

The little ones had fun too!

On the way home Sunday, I took some pictures out my window

Closer to home... eastern Oklahoma is so green!

It looked like this man was having fun :)

 Outskirts of Oklahoma City
- We had a wonderful trip, but it was great to be back in "home territory" again!

 Oklahoma Moon

Thank you so much Fleshman Family for taking care of our goats for us - it was a huge blessing!!

It was great to get home!!  Special thanks to Joshua, Hannah, and Lily as well who held down the fort on the home front for us.  They left everything so nice for us and even had breakfast in the fridge for the next morning.  That was a blessing and it tasted delicious!!

Monday after we unloaded and put everything away from our trip away, we played a game of aggravation.  What better way to end our vacation?

Trip Part 3

Okay, for part three we've got some pictures of our car travels as well as a few from  the first day in Tennessee.

The back seats crew

The view out the front

Sabrina

We got to witness all of the terrible flooding of the Mississippi that recently took place.  These pictures don't even do it justice.  It was amazing.  In some places, there were sand bags along the highway and water was still in the road!

A thunderstorm out my window

Another view

This was a fun place.  The original cabin was built over 100 years ago.  The food was great too!

On Friday of our trip, we went to Amish country and were able to see the gentleman that we met a couple of years ago.  On the way, we enjoyed this scenery.

I just thought the clouds were interesting

They don't like for you to take pictures in Amish country, so I took the picture of the sign near the entrance

Trip Part 2

Okay, here's part two!!  Here are some pictures of our second fun day in Kansas City.  Enjoy!

Seth and Shenendoah

We took mommy out for a special Mother's Day lunch and then for some shopping.  We had fun at Williams-Sonoma - what girl wouldn't?! :)

On a Mother's Day note - we are so thankful for you mommy!!!  Thank you for all that you do and for helping to train us in the straight and narrow way, in the right path, and for helping us to travel there on.  We love you so much and are very blessed to have a mother like you!!!

"Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her...many daughters have done virtuously, but you excellest them all...a women that fears the Lord, she shall be praised.  Give her the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates."
~from Proverbs 31

That night, we had a FANTASTIC time at our Uncle Joe (mommy's youngest brother) and Aunt Teresa's house.  Uncle Joe was out of town, but we had a great time with Aunt Teresa and our cousins!!!  Thank you so much for having us - it was great to see you all again and we had a lot of fun!! Here are some pictures of our fun evening together.

It wouldn't be an evening at their house without a Starbucks coffee run (we've done them as long as I can remember! :)  So Daddy, Jacob, and I braved the torrential downpour, went to Wal-Mart, and then of course, got coffee!!

Delicious tradition

It was great!

Strawberry shortcake - YUM!!!

One awful pirate and her innocent-looking cohort in crime :)

Trip Part 1

A couple of weeks ago, our family went on a trip.  It was kind of a whirl wind tour, but we had a pleasant time together and with those we were able to see.  We were thankful that we were able to go (it had been over a year since our whole family had been out of the great state of Oklahoma!) We are also so very thankful for the friends that were able to take care of the animals (far and near!) and property so we could go. We started off by going to Kansas City to visit family - it was so great to see everyone again!!  We then went down to Tennessee for a wonderful wedding.  I think I'm going to do this in several parts, so here goes part one:

We were able to see and visit with Grandpa Elder (mommy's father).  We love you grandpa!!!  It was great to see you again!!!

 Shenandoah

Watching the birds

 A closer look

All of us with our cousin, Weston.

Uncle Todd (mommy's oldest brother), Aunt Moe, Weston, and all of us.  It was great to see and visit with you all again too!!  We love you!!

Then we went to daddy's parents' house:
This snake was in the garage

 It was pretty long!

Daddy and his oldest brother, Andy

Uncle Andy built this remote control airplane
