Daddy and Mommy's 28th Anniversary -June 4th 2011

We are so blessed by the parents that God gave to us and I am so thankful to be one of their daughters!

Daddy and Mommy went out of town for the weekend and had a great time together!  We were thankful that it worked out for them to do so.

I was glad they got some pictures too! :)

 Where they stayed

On the home front...
We had a very busy, but great weekend too!!  Unfortunately, Sienna and Stasia weren't feeling very well so they were confined to quarters.  But the rest of us kept up with "normal" life and did a ton of cooking and baking.

Joshua, Hannah, and Lily came and spent part of the weekend with us, so that was a lot of fun!!!  We really appreciated them doing so and greatly enjoyed the fellowship.  Here are a few pictures from our weekend (unfortunately, I didn't get very many :(  I guess I was having too much fun!)

(Stasia was doing better so that was a blessing!)

We still had her eat separate though! :)

Memorial Day - 2011

We enjoyed a relaxing day as a family.  In the evening, we all watched "The League of Grateful Sons" together.  If you haven't already, please be sure to check it out!

It is so very important that we don't forget those who went before us, fought, and died, to give and preserve for us the freedoms that we enjoy today.  It is also equally important that we do our duty, stand for what is right, and preserve those freedoms - even the "small" ones - for ourselves and for our posterity.

"Remove not the ancient landmark, which your fathers have set." - Proverbs 22:28

Lily made this beautiful Memorial Day bouquet for us

Stasia and Sayer did a great job on the sign!

I'm posting about Memorial Day on the 4th of July - how am I doing?!!  Anyway...
Happy 4th of July!!!
Hopefully I'll be posting more about this in the near future! :)

God Bless America!!!

Friday Family Fun Night

Here are some pictures of one of our recent "Friday Family Fun Nights".  We had a great night of games, fun and fellowship.  Enjoy!

Having fun

Joshua, Hannah, and Lily did one of their puzzle games for us.  Mommy was the first to figure it out and got it very quickly!

Stasia giving it a shot

After we had humiliated ourselves enough with the above exercise :), daddy remembered a puzzle game that he did when he was in school.  Daddy let me in on the answer key and we had fun doing it for everyone else!!
