Here are just a few pictures that we've taken over the past few weeks.

A Visit With The Morris Family

Last Monday, we were blessed to have the Morris Family come to our home for food and fellowship. We had a wonderful time with them. Thank you all so much for coming!!!

They caught Gosel!

Everyone enjoyed the zip line!

The Morris's took Sariah our goat back home with them to breed her. They took Jubilee along too so they could keep each other company. Thank you Morris family!

The Goats are on their way. It will be so much fun when the kids are born and we are looking forward to the goats milk next spring!

Our Library Room

Here are some pictures of our library shelves that daddy recently built.

The start of the job.

Sayer views the work site.

The building begins...

Daddy hard at work.

Progress.

The building and painting complete, next comes the organizing. Didn't daddy do a great job?!

Sabrina and I helped mommy unpack and organize the shelves. It went very well and it is wonderful to have all of our books out again!!! (They had been packed since our move a year and a half ago!)

The work (or rather fun) of unpacking and organizing goes on...

and on.

The boxes pile up. (This wasn't even half of them!) Mommy enlisted the children in taking these boxes down to the trailer.

Then, instead of taking them down to the trailer (or as they said "on the way down to the trailer") Sabrina had an idea...

Let's slide down the hill on the boxes!!! (Note: Mommy did approve it.)

The art of play.

What did they accomplish more of - sliding down the hill or hauling the
boxes?!

Our completed bookshelves. Mommy did a great job organizing them. This is such a fun room to be in. I think it's one of my favorites in the whole house!

Cochran Chronicals

Hello again, I hope everyone enjoys the new updates. I had fallen significantly behind!!!

We are doing well. Excited about the arrival of fall!

We have so many baby chicks right now that I've completely lost count. I think we have close to 100!!! They are adorable. Our goats are as ornery as ever. They keep getting out of their fence and we have no idea how they are managing that!
The geese have gotten into a bad habit of biting us. Some of my family members think that it's about time to have two goose dinners (I'm not in agreement though, I would rather give them away.)
We did have something sad happen about a week ago though. We found Socks (one of our new kittens) dead down by our shed. We think it might have been killed by a dog. He belonged to Stasia so, needless to say, she was pretty upset.

The weather has really cooled off and is wonderful!!! We've been enjoying the outdoors a lot more! Last Friday night, our whole family played deer tag and kick ball together. It was so much fun!!!

We are getting back into school. I've been doing a lot of reading lately. I could read all day long and never get tired of it - if only time allowed!!!

I'll be posting pictures of our almost completed library room soon. Daddy built book shelves and we're almost finished unpacking all of our books that have been packed since our move. We are so excited. Well I better go!

Blessings,
Savannah

Sunday September 2nd

The Pentimone family joined us for church. We met at our house this Sunday. We had a wonderful day of worship and fellowship with everyone. Also, "Happy Birthday" to Brittney Southerland and Elia Pentimone who both had a birthday today! How fun!!! But alas, I was to busy enjoying the wonderful fellowship and failed my blogging responsibilities by not taking more pictures!!! :) The one below was taken for us by mommy.
