Out of the mouth of babes...

We just started memorizing the book of Ephesians as a family and are trying to do a few verses per day. Last night around the dinner table we were going to review. Mommy was going to go first and said "What's the first word?". Low and behold, Shenandoah piped up and started reciting Ephesians - the first couple of verses!!! We had no idea she knew it!!!

Shenandoah sure surprised us and did a great job! Mommy's doing good too. :)

That is a PRECIOUS thing. I remember when Lydia joined our family, she was 3 at the time and we were working on the book of Titus. At 3 years old she memorized the WHOLE book!!
Now we are in the process of adopting another 3 year old little girl (along with her 2 older siblings), she is a bit delayed and due to that reminds us of a 2 year old. Anyway, we are currently working on the book of First John and little Catherine has the first *almost* 8 verses of the second chapter memorized!! That little girl has only been with us for 2 weeks!!!

It is definitely a precious thing to have little children hiding God's Word in their HEARTS!!!
