...that we have already been in Germany for a month now! In some respects it seems like we've been gone much longer. We do miss home and church, but are so very thankful to be here with Phill. We are also very thankful for safety getting here, from the cross country drive back home (a unique experience for me alone with the children!!), to getting on the military hop and the flight over. (For those of you who don't know this, even though my husband is a pilot - flying is NOT something I relish!) God with His great mercy and grace provided, sustained, granted strength, gave peace and increased my faith!
God also has provided a home, a vehicle, healing from colds and stomach flu and the ability to visit places we never dreamt of seeing before! We are thankful to be with Phill in this beautiful country and for the unique experiences we've had thus far. We are also mindful that the normal things of life go on - cooking, cleaning, laundry, school and so on. Being here has also given us a deeper appreciation for, not only our home and church, but also for our country - the godly foundation it was established upon is definitely worth fighting for!!
Psalm 126:3. The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.
May our dear Lord bless and keep you. Ellen

Germany must be doing something good to your family! I think this is the first time I have seen you do a blog post! I am so happy for your family and the way God is blessing you. Jesi got Savannah's letter the other day, so I'm sure one will be coming back soon.
